The Twins, Siblings
Juno: The Female Soul. Genius
The union of complimentary opposites, as symbolized by the twins, is the theme of Gemini. In hatha yoga practice we balance our sun and moon energies. Gemini invites us to unite complimentary opposites: sun and moon; yin and yang; night and day, male and female, heaven and earth.

and Where does the Yin Yang Symbol come from?
Mercury, Gemini's ruling planet, is the winged messenger of the gods; he has winged feet and a winged helmet. He carries a caduceus. The goddess Iris is the Greek equivalent of Mercury. You can have alot of fun playing about with the imagery of winged feet and helmet in your yoga practice. It will give a swiftness and buoyancy to your practice. Here is a link to the Mercury Yoga practice I used on one of my Zodiac yoga days.
Hindu symbolism equated the caduceus with the central spirit of the human body, the spinal column, with the two mystic serpents twined around it like the genetic double helix: ida-nadi to the left, pingala-nadi to the right.
From: “The Woman’s Encyclopedia of Myths and Secrets”
The Caduceus is a symbol of integrated power, balance, and healing. It is used as a symbol of medicine. It has associations with the Tree of Life, as well as the three gunas.
Time was away and somewhere else,
There were two glasses and two chairs
And two people with the one pulse
(Somebody stopped the moving stairs):
Time was away and somewhere else.
